Philosophy ElderCare Services provides geriatric case management and care that nurtures the mind and body. It is one-on-one loving care that encourages independence. Services, including live-in caregivers and hourly caregivers, are of the highest quality and are reasonably priced. Thanks to the Bonding, Worker’s Compensation and General Liability insurances, as well as an emphasis on quality as opposed to quantity, you and your loved ones can have peace of mind. About The Owners " After our own aged parents experienced major illness, we realized the scarcity of quality care for the frail elderly. We created ElderCare Services due to the need for a caretaking environment based on kindness, patience and respect."-Gail and Al Mayer-
Gail and Al Mayer met while attending Graduate School at Fordham University in New York. Both received their Masters degree in Social Work. Their work experiences span over twenty years and include drug and alcohol programs, marriage and family counseling and extensive individual Psychotherapy. They offer valuable knowledge from their work at hospitals, psychiatric facilities, convalescent homes, assisted living complexes, adult day care centers, state programs for the elderly, and most recently, home care agencies both medical and non-medical. They have two grown children, a daughter and a son. Their son, daughter and son-in-law are involved with the family business as well. Gail and Al are also proud grandparents of two little boys.
